At this time, it is discriminated that the record following a record 32a corresponding to a record header 33a is deleted, a counter 35a of the record header 33a physically following the header 33b is counted up by +1. As the result, contents of the counter 35a are '1'. The record 32b and its record header 33b disappear in the block 23 by record compression in this state. In the block 23, the counted value of the counter 35a of the record header 33a is increased.
