In frame-clamping machines in which the frame parts are laid in and pressed directly and without a separate measuring process, a left upper pressing corner connected to the fixed support has a free passage; the vertical pressure cylinder, which is arranged in this pressing corner and has a pressure plate, is designed to be slidable or pivotable on the fixed support; a sensor is provided at the left upper pressing corner for scanning the vertical frame part and a vertical clamping band is provided on the vertical fixed support for bearing on the vertical frame part, and also a horizontal clamping band is provided on the lower horizontal fixed support for bearing on the horizontal frame part.
