<p>A hydraulic flow-control valve (10) in a directly controlled type of construction adjustable from outside is proposed. As a housing, the hydraulic flow-control valve (10) uses the five-chamber standard housing (13) of a directional control valve for directional control with a spool. A restrictor piston (46) with a first control edge (52) as well as a pressure-balance piston (54) with at least one second control edge (59) are fitted in the continuous spool bore (18) of the housing (13) from opposite end faces (16, 17). The restrictor piston (46) and the pressure-balance piston (54) interact with fixed control edges (18) on the four housing webs (34 to 37) between the five working chambers (19, 21 to 24). Via a pressure passage (62) in the pressure-balance piston or via a transverse bore (44) in the housing (13), control pressure is admitted to the spring chamber (26), closed to the outside by a cap (15), on the side of the pressure-balance piston (54). Flow-control valves of simple and compact construction in 2-way and 3-way style with loadable and non-loadable residual flow can be realised in a uniform standard housing. <IMAGE></p> |
