CONTRA ROTATING PROPELLER DEVICE

A propeller drive with contra rotating propellers (3 to 6) where the shafts (13) of the outer propellers are supported by bearings inside the hollow shafts (14) of the inner propellers. The number of the propellers is at least four arranged as two pairs (3, 4 and 5, 6), of which one is pulling and the other is pushing whereupon any of the said propellers rotate in an opposite direction with respect to the adjacent propellers. The transmission shaft (8) has two on the both sides of the propellers shafts (13 and 14) situated bevel gears, of which one (9) has a continuous connection with the bevel gears (11) on the shafts (14) of the inner propellers (4 and 5) and the other (10) with the bevel gears (12) on the shafts (13) of the outer propellers (3 and 6).
