PURPOSE:To judge securely and instantaneously whether an aircraft is a friend plane or not by adding the function of an IFF (Identification Fridend or Foe) interrogator. CONSTITUTION:A receiving antenna 3 acquires an object radio wave, which is detected as a signal by a receiver 2. At this point of time, whether or not this signal is from the friend plane can not be discriminated, but when the discrimination is required, the IFF interrogator 4 sends question information to sends the question to an object radio wave emission source 7 from an IFF antenna 5. When the emission source 7 is the friend plane, the question radio wave is decoded and an identification code is sent back. Therefore, it is found that the plane is not a friend plane unless there is no answer. Thus, an IFF interrogator function is connected to and arranged for an ESM (Electronic Support Measure) device to simplify the judging function of a processor 6 and eliminate the unstableness of identification completely.
