Device serving to keep on-hold a customer requesting to convey a telephone communication over a private radio channel. The invention relates to a device making it possible to intercept the telephone line and to have a stand-by message broadcast whilst continuing to operate the other party's call bell by way of a radio telephone. The system consists of a relay circuit RL1 allowing the switching of the public telephone line, a counter 4017 and a square signal generator NE555. The device according to the invention is particularly intended for users of private radio telephone. It will be delivered either mounted in a case or in the form of a card to be integrated with the existing hardware. <IMAGE>
