摘要 PURPOSE:To accurately measure displacement, distance, etc., of even an object with unknown light reflectivity by irradiating laser beams with different wavelength for each fiber on the object to be measurd respectively from two projecting fibers whose light projecting end faces are separated. CONSTITUTION:The optical fibers 15 and 17 for projection and the optical fibers 16 and 18 for photodetection are constituted by bunching plural optical fibers respectively. Further, the fibers 15 and 16, and 17 and 18 are made couples respectively and the ends are put together and fixed by a cylindrical body 24 and each end face is separated by the distance C. In this way, the laser beams 13 and 14 with different colors mutually generating with laser devices 11 and 12 are irradiated on the object 29 to be measured via the optical fibers 15 and 17. Then, the reflected light is photodetected by the fibers 16 and 18 and transmitted to photoelectric converters 21 and 22 via optical filters 19 and 20 and the distance X between the end faces of a couple of optical fibers 15 and 16 and the object 29 to be measured is calculated by a signal processor 23. Since the end faces of two fibers are deviated and each quantity of photodetection is detected and processed and the distance X is made calculated, the accurate distance to be measured is obtained even if the reflection coefficient of the object to be measured is unknown.
