BENDING DEVICE FOR THIN PLATE

PURPOSE:To enable the correct R bending of a thin plate by providing the fine groove opposing relatively to the bending roller in parallel each other and a pair of receiving rollers and by making the fine grooves of the bending roller and receiving roller the R bending parts at the inner peripheral side and outer peripheral side respectively. CONSTITUTION:A roller 13 is composed movably in the direction at right angles with the axis by providing by opposing the fine groove 28 in the width almost equal to the plate thickness of the material to be worked on the outer peripheral faces of mutually parallel bending rollers 13 and two receiving rollers 15. A bending force is applied on a thin plate 33 between the R bending part 29 at the inner peripheral side of the roller 13 and R bending part 30 at the outer peripheral side of the roller 15 by approaching the roller 13 to the roller 15 by fitting a straight long-sized thin plate 33 into the fine groove 28. When one part of the roller 15 is driven in this state, the thin plate 33 is bent in U shape and the whole body is formed in about semi-circular ring. In this way the correct R bending of the thin plate can be performed.
