A sales package which can be hung on a sales stand or the like and consists of transparent or translucent thermoplastic film for a strip-shaped closure having a packaging front wall, a packaging rear wall and a hanging device. The packaging front wall and the packaging rear wall are adapted to the closure and the hanging device is attached to the upper end of the packaging rear wall. For the purpose of packaging a touch-and-close fastener, both the packaging front wall and the packaging rear wall have a moulded-in, outwardly projecting flat insertion bed which is adapted in each case to one half of the fastener. The packaging front wall and the packaging rear wall are connected at the lower edge by a film hinge formed from the plastic film and can be placed one on the other. Attached to the insertion beds on both sides are edge flanges which lie one on the other when the packaging is closed and are provided with a cutout. In the region of the cutouts, a band is wrapped around the closed packaging. The hanging device consists of a continuation of the packaging rear wall with a hanging punch-out, which continuation additionally has a punched-out locking element which can be locked with a complementary locking element in a continuation of the packaging front wall. <IMAGE>
