PURPOSE:To improve charging efficiency in time of selection from low load to high, by making the primary side of suction passages longer than the secondary side in these independent suction passages being interconnected to one combustion chamber via two suction valves, while having both these passages interconnected at the downstream side of each throttle valve installed in both passages. CONSTITUTION:At suction ports 141 and 142 opened to one side face of a cylinder head 2, a primary passage 15 and a secondary passage 16 are interconnected with each other. The primary passage 15 is being set to be small in its pipe diameter and longer as compared with that of the secondary passage 16, while the other ends of these passages 15 and 16 are interconnected to the atmosphere via a suction air distributor chamber. These primary and secondary suction passages 15 and 16 approximate to each other nearby the cylinder head 2 at both downstream sides of a primary throttle valve and a secondary throttle valve and an interconnecting passage 21 interconnecting both passages 15 and 16 is formed in a boundary wall. |
