This invention is concerned with the method of fixing the plate and valve of the vidicon-type cathode-ray tube with the Joule's heat, which is generated by the second current due to inductive voltage. The method is to fix an indum-ring in the plate and valve by direct heating. By the generation of heat of indum-ring itself, the optical conductive matearial attached in a plate is not affected in electric characteristics. As the indumring itself is heated uniformly, this method solves the problem that the valve and the plate is not fixed well.
