<p>The sealing ring is for use between two radial faces on components on a shaft holding them together and allowing them to turn in relation to each other. It comprises a holder (9) on which a first sealing face (15) is formed, and a body (10) with a sealing edge (16) forming the opposite component. The body is secured by a joint (11) to the holder, so that it can assume an essentially stable position either side of the radial plane through the joint. In the compressed position the ring is narrower than the gap in which it is to be fitted.</p> |
