PRODUCTION OF SUTURE NEEDLE HAVING ELASTIC HOLE

PURPOSE:To obtain the suture needle having high productivity and inexpensive cost by performing in order the forming of the needle main body part and needle tip part by forming and swaging of the elastic hole by drawing in use of the needle pattern formed by corrosion work. CONSTITUTION:The tip part of a locking part 2b is formed in wedge shape after forming the needle pattern 11 that the suture string locking part 2b of an elastic hole part 2 is in the state of opening each other with the corrosion processing of the stainless steel plate in the necessary thickness. The opposing tip parts 2b2 are joined by overlapping by drawing the locking part 2b and its vicinity under heating after performing surface grinding of the main body part 1, aperture part 2 and needle tip part 3 in the prescribed thickness. In succession the main body part 1 in about square cross sectional shape and needle tip part 3 are formed in circular cross sectional shape by swaging and the blade part is formed by grinding the needle tip part 3 further. The completed suture needle 12 is subjected to a bending if necessary. In this way the suture needle can be manufactured inexpensively.
