摘要 The invention relates to a method and device for remotely controlling regenerative repeaters in a group of unmanned, that is to say automatically operating multi-channel digital pulse-code-modulation systems which are used in communications engineering and in systems for data transmission. It is the object of the invention to create a method and a device for automatic remote control of regenerative repeaters in a group of multi-channel digital PCM systems without interruption of transmission, which provide for simultaneous control of all regenerative repeaters on the path. The method according to the invention for the remote control of regenerative repeaters and the device for carrying out the method use an additional pair of wires and corresponding locating code combinations which are processed in the main terminal station. Due to the system formed by the devices in the main terminal station and in the unmanned regeneration points, the main terminal station simultaneously controls a number n of multi-channel line paths in both directions of transmission with a number m of regeneration points without interruption of transmission, the numbers of unstable or damaged regenerative repeaters and the numbers of the corresponding regeneration points where these regenerative repeaters are located being indicated in the terminal station. In the main terminal station, the numbers of the regeneration points are also indicated which exhibit a pressure change, existence of moisture or opening of the cover. <IMAGE>
