Method for manufacturing a racket frame for tennis or other games, the rackets consisting of a metal tube and being strung via holes. According to the invention, at least some of the holes are punched and enlarged with the aid of oval punches whose large axis is arranged parallel to the longitudinal direction of the tube 1, frustoconical inserts 6 being inserted into the holes 4.
