PURPOSE:To detect quantitatively and automatically the position of a light irradiated area by executing the binary processing of a video signal and calculating the coordinates of the centroid position of the binary image as the center position of a light irradiation pattern. CONSTITUTION:A light source 1 such as a head light of an automobile irradiates light having a certain directivity to a screen 2 to form a light irradiation pattern on the screen 2. A TV camera 3 picks up the pattern from the back of the screen 2. A controller 4 calculates the centroid coordinate position of the pattern at a high speed and a display part 5 displays the calculated result (XY coordinates) on a screen. |
