PURPOSE:To continue the processing of a program by jumping the processing up to a preveously stored leading address even if the program starts to runaway. CONSTITUTION:When the program starts to runaway by invasion of noise or the like, a computer executing the program generates a TRAP interruption and transfers its processing to a specified program address. The computer accesses a register once so that the leading address of a stored processing routine is reset in a program counter, restores a stack pointer and then jumps the processing to an address indicated by the contents of the register. Consequently, the processing of the processing routine being executed prior to the start of runaway of the program is restarted and the program can be prevented from runaway. |
