PURPOSE:To obtain a support mechanism available for papers of two different widths, by providing a pressing device pressing a paper support hub in a thrust direction and a fastening device preventing the removal of the paper out of a hub guide slot. CONSTITUTION:At the positions corresponding to the ends of a paper 1, hubs 2, 2' are installed, and top portions 3, 3' of the hubs 2, 2' are inserted along guide slots 5, 5' in guide plates 4, 4'. At this time, the construction allows the side end of the top portion 3' to engage with the taper portion of a pressing member 7 which is pressed by a plate spring 6 in the direction of arrow A. The top portions 3, 3' are recessed into the guide slots 5, 5', which prevents the paper from slipping out of the guide slots 5, 5'. With use of the large width paper, the pressing member 7 shifts in the reverse direction to that of an arrow A to support the paper in a fixed place. In this manner, the papers of different widths can be alternately set on the same support mechanism. |
