The picture detail locating device according to the invention is composed of two two-dimensional L-shaped angle pieces (1 and 2) which are situated one above the other and two double slides (7 and 8). Each double slide (7 or 8) has two pairs of rails (11, 12; 15, 16) which are at right angles to one another, are situated one above the other and in which a limb (3 or 4 and 5 or 6 respectively) of the two angle pieces (1, 2) can be respectively displaced in a crosswise fashion. <IMAGE>
