PURPOSE:To attain an efficient arrangement by inputting a graphic to be arranged on a graphic display as analog data through a coordinate input device. CONSTITUTION:A position specifying closed area corresponding to the screen of the graphic display 1 is formed on the coordinate system of a coordinate input device and a point P in the area is specified to determine an arranging position. Then, a size specifying closed area and a reference line having the size for dividing the size specifying closed area into two closed areas are formed on the coordinate system of the coordinate input device and a point in the size specifying closed area is specified to determine the size of arrangement in accordance with the specified point and the size reference line.
