<p>PURPOSE:To subject coal to moisture conditioning at low cost of installation and low cost of operating power, by controlling storage tank level of a coal tower and using a sensible heat recovered from exhaust gas up to a fixed height and generated gas and a sensible heat recovered from a quenching device. CONSTITUTION:The storage tank level of the coal tower 1 is controlled to a limit from full tank to height of 80% full tank and coal in a range from the storage tank level to 40% height of the full tank is directly or indirectly dried with sensible heat from a combustion exhaust gas of recovery furnace or a generated gas of coke oven or with sensible heat recovered from a dry quenching device.</p> |
