PURPOSE:To obtain an easily rotated and enlarged image by storing respective images by an aggregation of more than one elements specifying the element by a formation of parallelogram on a basic grid frame of (m) lines and (n) columns. CONSTITUTION:An image such as characters is decomposed into elements of a parallelogram and the image such as the characters is stored by storing an aggregation of the elements. Thereby, a capacity of a memory as a character generator may be small. The elements constituting lines of the image such as the characters can represent inclinations of all angles which can be taken by a basic grid frame 11 of (m) lines and (n) columns, so that the lines forming the image such as the characters become smooth and when enlarging the image, a clear image can be formed. Further, when the picture such as the characters is rotated, since the elements forming the image such as the respective characters are rotated, the number of the elements are fixed, therefore, even when enlarging the size of the image, a time required for the rotation is fixed and the processing is also constant irrespective of the size of the image such as the characters. |
