The gearwheel (4) to be bevelled is supported by a holder component (5) which is rotatable and lockable in the required rotary position with one wheel tooth edge in the work position. The rotary cutting tools (12,13) are pushed in one direction by their holders (10,16,11,17) along the workpiece edges for bevelling. - When pushed in the opposite direction, the tools return to their starting position. A feed unit (25-30), after one bevelling operation, feeds forward the following tooth edge on the gearwheel to the work position. |
