PURPOSE:To generate steroscopic visual feed and to improve aesthetic and ornamental characteristics by providing a hologram to part or the entire surface of a base material. CONSTITUTION:A timepiece dial 1 is formed by using an embossed hologram and laminating a thin reflective metallic film layer 4 and a hologram layer 5 via an adhesive agent layer 3 on the base material 2 for the timepiece dial. The embossed hologram is suitable for the layer 5 which can be thermoformed in the stage of forming the embossed hologram. Said layer is required to have the resistance to withstand the heat and pressure in the stage of working and the solvent in an adhesive agent after the formation of the hologram, i.e., in the stage of working. UV curing resins, electron ray curing resins, reactive resins of thermosetting and self-curing types, etc. are usable for such resin. The resins curable by UV or electron rays are suitable particularly when productivity is taken into consideration. The aesthetic and ornamental characteristics are improved by such hologram. |
