PURPOSE:To remarkably reduce fog by incorporating a specified compound in at least one layer of a photographic element formed by coating a support having an electron beam hardenable coat. CONSTITUTION:At least one silver halide emulsion layer contg. a 5-membered heterocyclic compound having Te-C=N as a ring constituent group, preferably, in an amt. of 4X10<-5>-1X10<-3>mol per mol of silver halide as a sensitizing dye is formed on the photographic support obtained by coating at least one side of a base with the electron beam hardenable compsn. composed substantially of an electron beam hardenable compd. and an inorg. pigment, and hardening it with electron beams. |
