PURPOSE:To obtain the stabilized silicon ribbon having a uniform thickness, without generating any crack by drawing up a coagulated shell of the silicon formed on the bottom panel of the cooler dipped in the molten silicon by tilting said bottom panel, from said bottom panel. CONSTITUTION:The cooler 5 having the bottom panel 7 as a cooling surface is arranged. The cooler 5 is dipped the bottom panel 7 into the molten silica 2 by tilting the bottom panel 7 of the cooler 5, and by maintaining as it is. And then, the coagulated shell of the silicon is formed on said bottom panel 7. And, the formed coagulated shell of the silicon is drawn up in the upper-ward along the bottom panel 7 of the cooler, thereby obtaining the silicon ribbon 1.
