PURPOSE:To obtain a circuit generating a frequency signal having at least twice the frequency of an input application signal with comparatively simple circuit constitution by constituting the titled circuit with the 1st transistor (TR), a load circuit, and a series circuit comprising the 2nd TR operated with a different operation voltage from that of the 1st TR and the 3rd TR. CONSTITUTION:The load resistor 21 and the TRs 31, 41 are connected in series, and constant voltages V1, V2 are fed respectively to a base of the TRs 11, 31 and the relation is selected as V1<V2. A basic pulse signal V0 of a frequency f0 is a reference input signal Vin in the frequency f0 via an input signal generating circuit 6. In the range of Vin<V, the TR 11 is turned on in this circuit, the TR 41 is turned off and an output voltage Vout at the output side of the resistor 21 becomes a power supply voltage +V. In the range of V1<Vin<V2, the TR 11 is turned off, the TR 41 is turned on and the output voltage Vout goes to a low level. In the range of Vin>V2, the TR 41 remains turned on. On the other hand, let the base-emitter voltage of the TRs 31, 41 be VBE02, VBEQ3, let the collector-emitter saturation voltage of the TR 41 be VCEsatQ3, the TR 31 is turned off with V2<Vin with VBEQq VBEQ3 and V2>>CEsatQ3 and the output voltage Vout goes to +V. Thus, the Vout becomes the pulse voltage with frequency 2f0. |
