<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus having a plurality of transmission channels and capable of correctly adjusting the phase of RF pulse input to each transmission channel without using a pickup coil, and to provide a transmission control method.SOLUTION: One embodiment of a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus, which has a plurality of transmission channels, includes: a signal processing part 41 for acquiring a high-frequency magnetic field radiated from each of the plurality of transmission channels through a receiving coil 16 disposed to a subject to measure a phase of the high-frequency magnetic field; and a control part 31 for obtaining phase differences among the plurality of transmission channels on the basis of the phases of the respective high-frequency magnetic fields of the plurality of transmission channels measured by the signal processing part 41 to control the phase of the high-frequency pulse input to each of the plurality of transmission channels on the basis of the phase differences.</p> |
