<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sign body for a road, whose visibility is continuously excellent. <P>SOLUTION: The sign body for a road includes a flexible columnar pole to be elastically bent by a contact of a vehicle, the pole contains a fluorescent coloring agent, and a hydrophilic layer containing an ultraviolet ray absorber is provided on the surface of the pole. Since the fluorescent coloring agent is contained in the pole and the hydrophilic layer is provided on the surface of the pole, a washing effect of a pole surface by rainwater by raining or the like is improved, dust and soil or the like stuck to the surface are easily removed, and a line-of-sight guiding effect by a fluorescent color is continuously increased. Also, since the hydrophilic layer contains the ultraviolet ray absorber, the degradation of the fluorescent coloring agent contained in the pole is suppressed, weatherability is improved, and the line-of-sight guiding effect is continuously increased. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
