PURPOSE:To reduce the dew-laden amount and to prevent fine appearance of the air conditioner from being impaired by mounting a water-absorbing plate on the inner surface of a dew receiver and providing the forward end portion thereof up to the inner surface of a guide member so as to block a guide hole. CONSTITUTION:Since a water-absorbing plate 19 is provided up to the inner surface of a guide member 14 so as to block a guide hole 13, an air flow from the back surface of the lower part of a guide unit to the guide hole 13 is substantially eliminated. Dew 20 laden on the front surfaces of a drain hose 8 and a pipeline 9 and dew 21 laden on the front surfaces of a lower wall 10 and a guide member 14 are minute in amounts to such a degree as not to drop. Since the water-absorbing plate 19 is mounted on the inner surface of a dew-receiving part 11, even when dew 23 deposited on the back surface of a base 4 and dew 22 deposited on the inner surface of a lower surface wall 10 fall dropwise, the water absorbing plate 19 sucks them up and diffuses them to promote the evaporation of the same. Further, the water-absorbing plate 19 is colored in black. At the time of installing the inside of the indoor unit is not visible from the guide hole 13 so that the air conditioner is fine in appearance. |
