PURPOSE:To shorten a trouble processing time by writing the write data fed from a host device into a memory space at one side and the trace information showing the working state history of a storage device into the other memory space, respectively. CONSTITUTION:The 1st memory 11 is used as amain storage area of a processor. While the 2nd memory 12 is used as a trace memory showing the working history of a storage device. Here, both memories 11 and 12 are logically divided by the address signals and have the address spaces, respectively. Therefore, it is possible to trace in all writing modes when the information is written to an optional address of the memory 11. Thus the working state history of the storage device is obtained even at that time point when the data on the main storage is destructed owing to the generation of a foul writing request. In such a way, the trouble processing time is shortened.
