<p>An operating device for breaking up material, whereby a drop-weight is guided in a support tube (1), the weight (3) being raised by a drive system via a pulling cable (4) and being released by a triggering means, so that it strikes a tool (17) which can move axially in the support tube (1). For this it is envisaged that on the outside of the support tube (1) and parallel to the axis (7) of the latter a hydraulic cylinder (6) is fixed, the piston (5) of which is provided on both sides with a piston-rod (12, 13); that attached to the free end of the upper piston rod (13) is the deflection roller (8) over which the pulling cable (4) of the drop-weight (3) is fed, with a deviation of about 180o, to an attachment point on the operating device; and that the triggering means consist of an on-off valve, via which the inlet chamber of the hydraulic cylinder (6) can be depressurized. The design of the device results in enhanced operating reliability and enables the height of the unit to be reduced.</p> |
