PURPOSE:To make possible the free and easy bending of a working stock at a desired angle in a desired direction by bending the stock by a bending actuator at the point where the stock emerges from a stock guide. CONSTITUTION:The working stock 3 is passed through a guide hole 24 in the stock guide 23 and is conducted up to a stock insertion hole 39 of the bending actuator 35. A bending direction determining body 26 is turned at a prescribed angle by driving a motor and the actuator 35 is turned integrally therewith to the prescribed angle position and is set therein. The bending direction of the stock 3 is thereby determined. A rotary drum 47 is then slid axially by driving a motor to move axially a sliding plate via a link mechanism by which the actuator 35 is turned to press the stock 3 from the side and to bend the stock 3 with the top end of a head 25 as a reference. The stock 3 is formed successively to the prescribed shape by repeating the above-mentioned operation, e.g., setting the rotating position of the body 26 and the turning angle of the actuator 35 at every bending stage. The stock is finally cut by a cutting blade actuated by a hydraulic cylinder, by which the product is obtd.
