PURPOSE:To obtain a remote control device with high reliability in a good communicating state by executing a communication by one transmitting and receiving means, and executing the communication by the other transmitting and receiving means, when an answer back signal is not obtained. CONSTITUTION:For instance, an answer back signal from a slave machine 3 is not obtained by a position relation of a transmitting and receiving circuit 14 of a master machine 1, and the slave machine 3. A controlling circuit 11 decides that a communica tion and a control are not executed correctly to the slave machine 3, and transmits the same control instruction by a transmitting and receiving circuit 15. As a result, if the answer back signal is obtained, it is decided that the communication and the control are normal, and information to the slave machine 3 of a memory 13 is rewrit ten so that the subsequent communication to the slave machine 3 is executed by the transmitting and receiving circuit 15. Unless the answer back signal is obtained, the circuit 11 sends out the same control instruction by a transmitting circuit 16, and when the answer back is obtained, the contents of the memory 13 are rewritten in the same way. Unless the answer back is obtained, it is decided that a control to the slave machine 3 cannot be executed, and its fact is informed by a displaying circuit 17.
