Shut-off cock, in particular for pipe or hose conduits, consisting of a hollow-cylindrical housing with an inlet opening and an outlet opening for a flow medium, with a cylindrical shut-off body arranged rotatably in the housing and having a through-hole which passes transversely through it and can be brought into alignment with the inlet and outlet openings, and with sealing rings which are provided in the uninterrupted side wall of the shut-off body in recesses at opposite locations and which surround the inlet opening and the outlet opening, respectively, in the closed position of the shut-off body. At least the outlet opening of the housing is provided with a radially extending bulge.
