摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain highly accurate, smoothly finished work surface when adjusting tool locus of a lathe and the like by measuring accuracy after the first machining, and generating tool locus based on error to be handled through compensation control using the measured data. CONSTITUTION:To adjust tool locus of an numerically controlled machine tool, machining shape of a work 2 is measured with a high-precision position sensor 3 and then free contour factors of the work 2, machining conditions of the work 2 and measurement conditions of the sensor 3 are commanded through a keyboard 12. From this command, control command is generated. At the same time free contour factors of the work 2 after eliminating errors resulting from machining conditions are derived by modifying conditions set by the keyboard 12 using error data of the work 2 measured with the position sensor 3. Based on a free contour function determined by the free contour factors, control command for adjusting the tool 1 locus is generated.
