PURPOSE:To obtain the cleaning blade of an electrophotographic copying machine capable of facilitating cleaning a photosensitive body used for a long period by holding a high hardness layer with a low one. CONSTITUTION:A residual toner on a drum surface, that is, the surface of the photosensitive body 4, is removed by the layer 1a made of the low hardness part. However, since the part removing the residual toner is of the layer 1a made of the low hardness part, the photosensitive body 4 will not be damaged even if said layer 1 is caused to press the body 4. As the layer 2a made of the high hardness part is provided adjacent to the layer 1a made of the low hardness part, it supports the layer 1a made of the low hardness part. However it never wear the photosensitive body 4, different from the case where a metallic plate supports the layer 1a, because the layer 1a composed of the high hardness part is made of urethane rubber having high hardness. Since the layer 1b made of the low hardness part is provided at the side opposite to the photosensitive body 4 made of the high hardness layer 2a to form the cleaning blade 2a with three-layered structure, the warpage of the cleaning blade 3a can be prevented. |
