PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration in communication quality by interpolating an input signal after missing corresponding to a differentiated slope, a peak value and a period just before the missing of an input signal with a narrow band and applying interpolation processing outputting a signal approximated to the input sequentially so as not to cause discontinuity at the end of missing. CONSTITUTION:A period detecting section 1 detects the period by using zero cross point detection of an input signal. Further, a slope detection section 2 uses the polarity between adjacent sample values and the values to detect the differentiated slope of the input signal. Moreover, a peak detection section 3 detects a peak value of the input signal. An interpolation processing section 4 outputs a signal having an amplitude prolonging the slope according to the differentiation slope detected by the slope detection section 2 at the application of the missing detection signal to the input signal, and when its signal reaches the peak value detected by the peak detection section 3, the slope is inverted and the result is operated so as to obtain a period nearly equal to the period detected by the period detection section 2 by the control, and when the missing of the input signal is finished, the output signal is processed for operation so as to approach the recovered input signal gradually.
