PURPOSE:To prevent a filter from clogging and to take in a required quantity of air necessary for the ventilation of a building by providing a snow removing device having a front surface plate having a plurality of openings and disposed perpendicular, a rear surface plate and a snow-melting pit at the lower part of the rear surface plate. CONSTITUTION:Snow which has been sucked up together with the outside air by the operation of the ventilating and air-conditioning unit makes contact with a front surface plate 21 and snow which has passed through openings 21a makes contact with a rear surface plate 22. Snow which has fallen from the front surface plate 21 is discharged out of the building 1, and snow which has fallen from the rear surface plate 21 is caught and collected in a snow pit 24 disposed at the lower part thereof. The collected snow is melted by a heater 25, and snowmelt is discharged to the outside through a water exhaust pipe 26. On the other hand, the outside air which has made contact with the rear surface plate 22 rides over the upper end edge of each of unit plates 23 as an upward flow and flows on the downstream side, and further is guided through the louver 2 to the bag type filter 4. However, since snow within the outside air is removed by the rear surface plate 22, snow is not almost contained in the outside air.
