PURPOSE:To make it possible to readily and certainly perform burr cutting even if pressure force caused by cutter feed acts to stoppers by contacting and supporting the cutting burrs of a slab by a stopper from the opposite side of a cutter. CONSTITUTION:A slab (a) having burrs (b) caused by gas cutting is introduced by a conveyor roller 3 and positioned by the stoppers 10 having been stood above the slab by rotating a rotary frame 9 clockwise. In this state, an auxiliary stopper 10b is pushed against the side opposite to the cutter 16 for cutting burrs (b) by the action of a shock absorber 14, and if the cutter 16 is advanced in the direction of C by a cutter drive mechanism 17, since the slab (a) is stood still by a fixed stopper 10a, the cutter 16, cutting burrs (b), and auxiliary stopper 10b are advanced resistating considerably strong pressure force of the absorber 14, and the cutting burrs (b) is cut without being bent to the side of the edge a1 of cutting section. Burr cutting can, thus, be readily and certainly performed.
