PURPOSE:To reduce a processing time for a book to be bound, by continuously printing the same lines of an odd page and an even page. CONSTITUTION:1 spread right and left page of a book to be bound consists of a left margin, a left page data, a middle margin, a right page data and a right space. As for a page data, its physical occupying width is decided by deciding a prescribed form. An operator decides the prescribed form at first. Subsequently, the middle margin is decided. As a result, the extent of the right and left margins is decided automatically due to necessity of equalizing a blank generated on the right and left of the printing part, in the right and left pages, so that the right and left parts do not become uneven by the center line. Printing is executed by alternately reading out the information of the right and left pages from a storage device in accordance with the prescribed form decided in this way. |
