<p>PURPOSE:To extract contained Co, Ni and Cu inexpensively at relatively low temp. by carrying out the extraction treatment of manganese nodules by use of rhodan waste liquor. CONSTITUTION:The manganese nodules ground to about -100mesh grain size are mixed, in a mixing ratio of 20-100g/l, with the rhodan waste liquor yielded concomitant with the process for the wet sulfur recovery-type desulfurization of coke oven gas produced in a coke oven, and the mixture is subjected to extraction treatment. In the primary stage, the extraction treatment is carried out at >=about 60 deg.C to control the elution of Co and to eluate Cu preferentially. On and after the secondary stage, extractions are carried out at <=about 40 deg.C to extract Co. In this way, valuable metals can be extracted by separation from the manganese nodules.</p> |
