1. A cantilever sideways-sliding gate having a gate leaf (1) extended beyond the width of the gate opening and comprising a lower flange (3) which is constructed in the form of a hollow section and is box-shaped in cross-section and is guided to the side of the gate opening between two spaced double posts (5) which are each connected through a respective upper bridge member (8), the double posts each enclosing between them upper and lower supporting and guide rollers (11, 13 and 16, 17) to support the lower flange and the upper flange (2) and a further supporting roller (25) being provided spaced from the double posts to support the free end of the gate below the gate leaf in the open position, characterised in that the upper and lower supporting and guide rollers (11, 13 and 16, 17) or their carriers are each held for vertical and lateral adjustment between the door posts (5 or 7), and that the lower wall of the lower flange (3) has a central longitudinal groove (15) for the engagement of the lower guide rollers (16) and rests with its plane walls (18) extending to the sides of the groove on the lower supporting rollers (17). |
