<p>PURPOSE:To provide the titled ink composed of pigment surface-treated with an aluminum-based coupling agent, a rubbery polymeric elastomer, a high-boiling organic solvent and a low-boiling organic solvent, having excellent uniformity and age stability, and capable of giving a drawn line erasable with a rubber eraser. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a pigment (e.g. carbon black, phthalocyanine pigment, etc.) is treated with an aluminum-based coupling agent of formula (R is 2-5C hydrocarbon group; R' is 8-22C hydrocarbon group) (e.g. stearyl acetate aluminum diisopropylate, etc.), and the treated pigment is mixed with a high- boiling organic solvent having a boiling point of >=270 deg.C (e.g. aromatic process oil). The obtained mixture is mixed with a mixture of a rubbery polymeric elastomer (e.g. natural or synthetic rubber, etc.) and a low-boiling organic solvent having a boiling point of <=180 deg.C (e.g. toluene, xylene, etc.) to obtain the objective ink. The amount of the surface-treating agent is preferably 0.5-5wt% based on the pigment.</p> |
