PURPOSE:To obtain an ink jet head having a conductor circuit at low cost with good productivity by providing a conductor circuit and a plug which are made of a conductive plastic material for the head body. CONSTITUTION:In an ink jet head, a plastic head base 3 is formed and a conductor 5 and a plug 6 are formed of a conductive plastic material immediately after the formation of the head base 3. A metal thin layer 10 is provided on the conductor circuit 5. Bonding connection can be made in connecting the circuit 5 and the lead line 7 of a piezo-electric element 4 because of the presence of the metal thin film. Also, since the conductive plastic material used, the metal thin film can be applied to the circuit 5 by a plating method without the needs for specific pretreatment. The productivity is excellent and cost can be reduced. |
