PURPOSE:To prevent the stagnation of drain on the lee side of an evaporator and flying of dew toward a fan side by a method wherein the shielding plate for preventing dew from flying is fitted to the stay on the lower surface of the evaporator on the lee side of the evaporator. CONSTITUTION:A gap 10 is formed between the stay 6 and the upper surface of a drain-pan 3 at the lower surface of the evaporator 2 and the shielding plate 11 for the dew flying preventing is fitted to he stay 6 on the lee side of the evaporator 2. Static pressure difference between the space portion 12 surrounded by the drain-pan 3 and the stay 6 and the first chamber A is not generated, or, the space portion 12 does not become of negative pressure, therefore, the drain 8 flows to a draining port 5 smoothly along the gradient of the drain-pan 3. Even in case the dew 9 on the evaporator surface is flown by air current before flowing down to the drain-pan 3, it is collided against the shielding plate 11, therefore, the dew flying for the fan 4 side may be prevented. |
