PURPOSE:To manufacture casing molds efficiently by placing casting mold cavities defined by a casting flask and a model on a turntable, filling cavities with sand, removing the casting flask before the cavity comes to the initial position, and returning the removed casing flask to a place near the initial position. CONSTITUTION:A casing mold cavity 10 is place in station 1-1 where the cavity is filled with sand 14 containing binder. Then, the turntable 1 turns in the arrow direction to bring the cavity 10 filled with sand in position 1-2 where the turntable 1 stops for a while during which another mold cavity 10 is placed in the empty station 1-1 and the cavity is filled with sand. The sand in the cavity is solidified while it travels through stations 1-2 and 1-3. The turntable 1 stops temporarily when a cavity comes to station 1-4, where the casing flask 11 is removed. The removed casting flask 11 is sent through the route 2 to station 1-8 for the purpose of reuse. The mold cavity 10 from which the casing flask 11 is removed at station 1-4 comes to station 1-7 where the model 13 is removed, and the casting mold 14 is placed on the carriage 4 by the overturning device 3.
