PURPOSE:To obtain the titled compound useful as a raw material for an improver for high polymer substance, etc., in high yield, by reacting a fluorinated alcohol with (meth)acrylic acid in the presence of an acid catalyst. CONSTITUTION:1mol compound shown by the formula I (n is 2-7 integer) is reacted with 1-3mol acrylic acid or methacrylic acid in the presence of an acid catalyst such as paratoluenesulfonic acid, trifluoroboric acid, phosphoric acid, etc. at room temperature - 150 deg.C, preferably <=130 deg.C, to give the aimed compound shown by the formula II (R is H, or CH3).
