A distribution head for a telecommunications cable has overvoltage arrester magnzines and has a first connection space(4) for a first terminal strip(7) which has terminal elements (10) for solderless, stripless and unscrewed termination of wires of a feeder cable(2). A second connecting space(5) for a second terminal strip(6) has terminal elements(9). The electrical connections between the terminal elements(9,10) of both connecting spaces(4,5) are important because (A) the first terminal strip(7) is integrally formed with the housing, and (B) the second terminal strip(6) is latched to the front portion of the housing by means o f latching members(13). |
