PURPOSE:To make a device small in size and light in weight, and also to reduce a cost by constituting the first elastic supporting member for supporting an objective lens so as to be displaceable in its optical axis direction, and the second elastic supporting member for supporting it so as to be displaceable in the direction vertical to the optical axis, of two pairs of parallel springs consisting of two pieces of plate springs. CONSTITUTION:When a current is supplied to a coil 33 wound to a bobbin, a force working on the direction as indicated with an arrow (d), namely, the optical axis direction is generated, and an objective lens 1 is moved without being inclined in the direction as indicated with the arrow (d) to a position being balanced with a focus spring. Accordingly, an optical spot can be projected onto a recording medium by supplying a current being proportional to a focusing error signal. Subsequently, when a current is supplied to a coil 34, a force working on the direction as indicated with an arrow (b), namely, the direction vertical to the optical axis is generated, and the objective lens 1 is moved without being inclined in the direction as indicated with the arrow (b) to a position balanced with a track spring. Accordingly, the optical spot can be projected onto an information track by supplying a current being proportional to a tracking error signal. |
